About Merghem Zone
Margham industrial area is located between kilometer 19 and kilometer 31, and it is bordered to the north and east by the West Nubaria canal, to the south by the Alexandria-Cairo Desert Road, and to the west by the connection road to the sea branching from the desert towards kilometer 21
Decisions regarding Margham Industrial Zone, Bahri, and Qibli:
- It was approved as an industrial zone by decree of the Governor of Alexandria No. 23 of 1986
- Ministerial Decree No. 523 of 1990 approving comprehensive planning for the Alexandria Governorate for the regions of Margham Bahri and Kebili.
- Republican Decree No. 15070 of 1998 for Margham Bahri, with a total area of 2702 acres.
- Republican Decree No. 1440 of 2001 for the area of Margham Qebili with a total area of 874 acres.
Margham Bahri includes about 800 industrial and service projects
The area of Margham, seaside, and off-sea area = 6931 acres, divided into:
Margham seaside area = 2702 acres
Margham off-sea area = 4129 acres

The association’s declaration number is: 1114 dated 4/25/1994
The zone includes industrial or service projects covering various industries that meet the needs of the local market and exports
Investors have contributed to extending the zone with a network of electricity, water and telephones, and contacts are underway with government agencies to implement sewage and gas for the area
